Your hand is my anchor, unshaken, secure.
The fire refines, but it cannot consume,
For faith is the seed that blossoms through gloom.
Affliction is heavy, yet it opens my eyes,
To the depths of Your mercy that darkness denies.
Without the valley, how could I know Your height?
Without the struggle, how could I see Your light?
Fear may whisper, but I will not bow,
Your Spirit equips me with strength for the now.
A fortress unbroken, a shield for my soul,
Your Word is the fire that makes broken hearts whole.
So strengthen me, Lord, let courage increase,
Let my spirit find rest, let my mind find peace.
For though the battle is fierce and long,
Your power is perfect, Your joy is my song.
